Smt. Suseela Chintala retired from NABARD as Chief General Manager after an illustrious 38-year career, serving across Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Punjab & Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Head Office in Mumbai. She brings extensive expertise in agriculture, rural development, and financial inclusion, shaped by both policy leadership and grassroots engagement.
She has held key roles in NABARD’s Training Establishment (Lucknow) and its subsidiaries, including NABFINS, where she strengthened SHG-based inclusive lending, and NABKISAN, where she led FPO financing and farmer collectivisation initiatives.
Her contributions span farm and off-farm sectors, women-centric development, innovation, and startup ecosystems. She has served on the boards of Tamil Nadu Women Development Corporation, Sa-Dhan, and other development institutions.
Her final assignment was as Head of Microfinance and Financial Inclusion at the national level, providing strategic leadership to advance equitable and inclusive financial systems.
